Sixteenth International Workshop on

Applied Economics of Education

Catanzaro, Italy 14th-16th June 2026

 

We are delighted to announce the 16th IWAEE that will be held in Catanzaro, Italy, the 14th to 16th of June 2026.

The conference is organised by the Department of Law, Economics and Sociology, Magna Graecia University in collaboration with the Department of Economics, Lancaster University and the Department of Economics, NTNU. 

Keynote lectures will be given by:

Esteban Aucejo  (Arizona State University)
Mari Rege  (University of Stavanger)
Hannah Schildberg-Hörisch  (Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics)

 

We invite you to submit a full paper or an extended abstract through the workshop website by midnight 27th of February 2026. We will consider contributions across all applied areas of education economics. Preference will be given to full papers for contributed sessions.

Registration fees will be €405 and €300 for doctoral students.
